Cherry Class

Our World, Our Home
Cherry Class went on a walk around Hadlow Village to learn about the immediate environment that surrounds our school. We were asked to observe the physical and human features around our school. We walked through the village and we were also lucky enough to meet a lady who took us around the grounds of Hadlow Tower. We had a really enjoyable morning out, but learnt lots about our home, Hadlow.

This term in Maths, Cherry class were focusing on the number system. We were learning about place value and found out how to partition numbers into tens and ones. We were also looking at number sequences and were identifying rules, continuing sequences and finding missing numbers. We carried out some maths investigations and were learning how to work in a methodical way to find all of the possible solutions to a problem.
