Educational Visits

Visits are arranged to support, complement and enhance the curriculum. These range from short excursions in and around the area to longer whole-day outings further afield. These are carefully prepared and followed up so the maximum benefit may be derived from them.

Parents are always informed in advance and are required to sign and return a consent form. This is essential before a child can leave the school premises.

All visits are arranged on the basis of contributions within the legal framework of the Education Reform Act 1988. If contributions received do not cover the cost of the intended visit, the activity may have to be cancelled. Under these circumstances any monies received would be returned.
