Happiness, Progress, Success

Maple Class

Thursday:

Today for Maths, we laid out a tape measure and measured how far we could jump. We recorded 3 jumps and took our longest jump.

We then laid out a football and booted it as far as we could. Then we measured the distance using trundle wheels (which measure meters). We did this three times as well and recorded our distances.

When we returned inside, we made a bar graph out of the long jump and a pie graph out of the football kick. It was nice to get outside and do a lesson. Who knew that we could have fun and do Maths? (I envision Miss Hawkins scowling at me right now...)
