The Night Before Christmas

We have been learning the very famous Christmas poem, 'The Night Before Christmas'

We have learnt sections of the poem off by heart with the help of story maps.

Maths

In Maths this week we have been learning how to do written multiplication.

We have learnt so much about the Tudors this term and we've created some fantastic non fiction books about what Henry's life and his famous wives. We have been using headings and subheadings to organise our work so it's clear for everyone to read. We have learnt all about how lazy Henry was when he was old and how his servants had to carry him around as he was very fat and had an injured leg. We also learnt that Catherine of Aragon's singing sounded like a drill!

We are currently learning our song about the Tudors and we can wait to perform it on

Friday 16th!

Hever Castle

We had a great day at Hever Castle on the 23rd November.
