During Maths Week, we collected data by searching for different minibeasts and making a tally of each type. Later in the week we went on a Maths trail and collected clues. The clue spelt out cube and that’s what we made from Lego! Some of us tried out other 3D shapes. On Wednesday afternoon, we made pop up cards. We needed to understand and use mathematical vocabulary and measure with a ruler. On Thursday, we made a sundial! Starting at 8.30a.m we recorded the shadow each hour and observed the changes, it was very interesting. Finally, we had a challenge, could we make a tunnel only from paper? Yes, we could!
