Tuesday 2nd March
Redesign the front cover of your chosen traditional tale. The job of an illustrator is really important. The front cover will encourage someone to read a book or put them off! Use your imagination to entice someone to read your chosen tale. Mrs SHrimpton and Mrs austin will be choosing a winner from their groups which will be announced in the end of week assembly.
Wednesday 3rd March
This term, Year Four will be learning to play volley ball. Below, are the normal lesson plans that we will follow, and that we will continue with, on our return to school. For the next two weeks, please practice some of the volley ball skills on the plan. Ensure that you also include a warm and some fitness aspect to your PE so you are ready for volleyball on your return to school!
Thursday 4th March
Art and DT
Make a clue for your traditional tale. This could be a make up design, mask, hat, prop or even something you bake?
This will be presented in the last lesson of lockdown on Friday afternoon.
Friday 5th March
Design a Game and Group Presentations
Join your assigned group for your presentation of your chosen traditional tale. (The time will be sent to you by email in the week)
For the rest of the afternoon, please make a board game with the theme of authors. There is a game board below that could be used to start you off or you can design your own.
