Spellings will be uploaded here each Friday, they will also be copied into Home Learning Books. Spellings will be a mixture of topic related words, spelling patterns, ambitious vocabulary and high frequency words. Please encourage your child to learn their spellings in a creative way, this will both support and challenge their learning.

Weekly Update: Week 2
Another very busy week in Rowan Class!
We have covered SO much Maths this week: mental maths challenges, line graphs, pie charts, data analysis, shape retrieval, fractions and much more!
On Friday we also enjoy an action packed Maths Day with a fun problem solving workshop, a focused study on Pythagoras and his work on triangles, outdoor learning, a times table challenge with Yr 5 and even some awesome arty maths! :)
In English we have continued delving in to the mysterious world of Skellig; we have also been refining our comprehension skills and our GPS terminology.
In Science, have also enjoyed starting to learn about Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution.
