Our mission statement at Hadlow Primary School is simple: Happiness, Progress and Success! We strive to make our school a happy place for each and every child. Our staff go the extra mile to nurture, support and value the individual strengths and needs of our children. When our pupils feel safe and happy in school, they have the motivation to learn and the confidence to take risks; this enables them to make good progress socially, emotionally and academically.
Hadlow Primary School has a proud place at the heart of the village of Hadlow and has served generations of local children and families.
Situated in School Lane, our school has grown and developed over the years while retaining the warm, welcoming and close-knit character of a village primary school. Today, Hadlow Primary is a one-form entry community school, educating children from Reception through to Year 6.
Our connection with the local community is an important part of our identity. We are proud of our village heritage and encourage our children to develop a strong sense of belonging, while also providing them with opportunities to explore and understand the wider world.
In September 2019, Hadlow Primary School joined with Shipbourne School to form the Bourne Partnership. The federation brought together two small village schools, enabling them to share expertise and opportunities whilst retaining the individual character and identity of each school.
While education has changed considerably over the years, Hadlow Primary School continues to build upon its history and traditions. At the heart of our school today is our commitment to Happiness, Progress and Success, ensuring that Hadlow remains a place where children feel valued, supported and inspired to achieve their very best.
We are proud of our past, proud of our place within the Hadlow community and excited about the future generations of children who will become part of our school's story.
