We were lucky to get to participate in some fun maths problem solving activites.

Tetromino/Pentomino Challenge:
Pupils used a set of geometric shapes to create rectangles and other patterns. The activity developed spatial reasoning, teamwork and problem-solving skills as children explored different ways to fit the pieces together and justify their solutions.

Tower of Hanoi

It's a puzzle with:

• 3 pegs
• A stack of discs of different sizes on one peg
• The goal is to move the entire stack to another peg

Rules:

1. Only move one disc at a time.
2. Only the top disc of a stack can be moved.
3. A larger disc can never be placed on top of a smaller disc.

For example, with 3 discs, you must move the stack from the left peg to the right peg using the middle peg as a temporary holding place.
