Welcome to Term 1 of Cherry class. We have a busy term full of great learning that will build on the children's previous learning from EYFS and Year 1. We will be focusing on many areas with a particular emphasis on phonics, counting and number work and writing.
Some important information
Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please be aware that on these days the children may come home in their PE kit but it will need to be back in school ready for the next PE lesson.
We will be sending home reading books for the children once we have assessed their current reading skills.
