1:1 Teaching Assistant in KS2- URGENT

Hadlow Primary School are looking for a skilled, knowledgeable and dynamic person to join our top team! 

The position requires working on a 1:1 basis, with a pupil on the SEND register, in KS2. 

The ideal candidate will be positive, highly motivated and flexible. They will show care and nurture for the pupil, ensuring that their emotional needs are met. They will be passionate about education and motivated to a fully inclusive curriculum offer. They will strive to support the child with their happiness, progress and success within the mainstream setting. 

Previous experience of working with children in a school setting would be preferable, but any experience with SEN would be useful. 

The candidate may be required to support other vulnerable pupils in the school, through in class support and personalised mentoring opportunities.

Deputy Headteacher- Maternity Contract 

 

After almost a decade of stable leadership, a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Senior Leadership Team at Hadlow has arisen. 

We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring practitioner who will join the team as Deputy Headteacher, modelling excellent teaching within Year 1, whilst leading effective, whole school improvement. 

The successful candidate will work alongside the Headteacher to steer the strategic aims and objectives of the school; further improving the quality of the curriculum, behaviour and attitudes and personal development opportunities for all pupils, including those in the EYFS. 

 

The Deputy Headteacher, under the direction of the Headteacher, will take a major role in: 

  • Formulating the aims and objectives of Hadlow Primary School
  • Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives
  • Managing staff and resources
  • Monitoring progress towards the achievement aims and objectives of Hadlow Primary School 

 

The Deputy Headteacher will have a timetabled teaching commitment of 60%; they must comply with the Teachers’ Standards and model best practice for others.
