Week 6
Happy Easter!
A fun Easter egg hunt!
Our grass heads have grown hair!
We have been subtracting using objects outside.
We have been learning about the Easter story and acted out the main events - Palm Sunday, The Last Supper, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Week 5
We did addition outside using objects.
Look at some of our wonderful Spring poems. We used interesting adjectives and verbs to describe what we had seen and heard.
We recited a Spring poem to Cherry Class then went on a Spring walk to look at and listen to signs of Spring.
Week 4
We made grass heads on Red Nose Day.
Watch us perform our collaborative poem called Animal Town. We have been learning about nouns, adjectives and verbs and put all our ideas together to write the poem in class.

Week 3

It is so wonderful to have all of Plums back in school. Everyone has come in smiling, ready to learn and have fun.


We used blocks to measure objects on the field.

Week 2
Look at our amazing Kandinsky paintings!
We made our own sandwiches and had a tea party. A tiger came to tea with us!
We used noun phrases, similes and our feelings to create interesting sentences about an unusual picture.
We compared lengths in Maths, finding objects which were longer and shorter than a spoon.
Week 1
At school we gave our friends directions to get to different places around the playground. We used the instructions forwards, backwards, turn left and turn right.
We practised ball skills in PE and improved our throwing, catching, bouncing and shooting abilities.

We changed the positional language in 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' to create our own sentences.

In class we have been learning about positional language in our Maths lessons.
