Around The World In Six Weeks
Caught Being Kind
This term we are still watching out for acts of kindness. These can range from helping a hurt friend to offering an adult some help. Here are the class members caught so far.
The challenge was to write an improper fraction for our partners to convert into a mixed fraction.
Today, we played fraction games in Maths to practice what we have learnt this year.

Peer massage has been reintroduced this term, and in PSHE this week we have thought of different ways we can relax. Stroking pets, playing games, music and being outdoors were some of the ideas discussed.
Year Four Sports Day
Luckily, the rain stayed away and we had a fabulous afternoon on the field. We competed fairly and took losses on the chin! Results are to follow soon!!
Here are some Sports Day reports to give a flavour of the afternoon.
In phonics, we explore how the same sound can be spelt differently
Here we are using story dice to make up stories.
In Maths, we have been learning the grid method for multiplication.
We have added more to our veg patch. We weeded and watered too.
Some of us got the hang of the hula-hoop.
We practised division outdoors! Here we are dividing into groups of different size.
