Spelling

Spellings:

We are no longer using Sir Linkalot for spellings.

Instead, each day, pupils will build up their bank of tricky words, homophones and spelling conventions in class using the National Curriculum word list for Year 5.

Pupils in Y5 will learn 10 words per week. They will be assessed every Monday. If your child has a tailored list of spelling words, they will be provided in the take-home reading diaries.
